Esikhaweni Mall | Spar

We installed an 880 kW DC grid-tied system with Genset integration and walkways at Esikhaweni Mall, working alongside the Schoonhoven family of Schoonhoven Enterprises. This tailored system was built to offset the mall’s highest energy demands during the day, particularly from refrigeration and air conditioning. With integrated generator support, the mall has significantly reduced its diesel usage by up to 70%, improved grid stability, and achieved greater long-term cost savings.
