To reduce diesel dependency and stabilise energy costs, we installed a 120 kW AC grid-tied system with generator integration at Engen Ngwelezane. Designed to offset high daytime electricity use from refrigeration and fuel pumps, the system cuts diesel usage by up to 70% during generator runtime, bringing down operating costs while keeping the site reliably powered.
